Content Acquisition and Partnership Management Lead

What you will get to do

  • Help shape Lottie into a product loved by children and parents alike by implementing a balanced content mix for a playful learning experience
  • Take responsibility for all content acquisition efforts and (strategic) content partnerships for Lottie
  • Build, maintain and utilize your network in the kids' entertainment space to acquire national and international content for our platform
  • Manage the "hunting list", approach, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management with (current and future) content partners
  • Observe the digital kids market and spot new trends, programs, properties
  • Introduce and manage the content CRM system to efficiently capture all activities towards our content partners
  • Build and structure the content buying/partner relations team as the company grows
  • Continuously strive to improve licensing terms and find creative partnership agreements with license holders
  • Become a vital contributor to pave the way for Lottie's international expansion down the road

  • Have a passion for kids content and are up-to-date on the latest market developments
  • Are eager to build an innovative and market-disrupting platform from the ground up in a highly dedicated and ambitious entrepreneurial team
  • Have a profound understanding of the licensing market, including contract terms, key players, partnership structures
  • Are able to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with business partners on the basis of mutually beneficial commercial agreements
  • Have a fine commercial sense for the viability of licensing structures and a proven record of negotiation skills
  • Enjoy being creative around partnership structures and modalities with a view of seeing Lottie grow into a meaningful player in the international kids' edutainment market
  • Generally follow a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving and business development

Who you are

  • You have a proven track record in the kids' media/content space on the licensee and/or licensor side, on the video, audio, and/or apps/games side
  • You should have had experience with leading industry players in the kids content space
  • Preferably you have an education (or thorough understanding) of early childhood development/pedagogics, (media) psychology, or adjacent
  • You are an integrative and transparent communicator
  • You are an outgoing and curious person

This position is open for candidates wanting to work onsite or in remote (located in time zones +/- 2 hours from Berlin) and enjoy flexible working hours with openness to travel to our office a few times a year.
