Marketing and Communications Lead

What you will get to do

  • Develop and execute the global comms strategy for Lottie, with a particular focus on the German market to start
  • Drive awareness, understanding and positive sentiment for the Lottie brand
  • Build content for multiple channels (PR, blog, social media etc...) both independently and working with external providers (agency, freelancer)
  • Manage online & offline marketing campaigns
  • Measure, optimise, and iterate on content from both a brand and growth perspective
  • Develop and maintain a network of journalists, bloggers, and influencers to tell the Lottie story to a broader audience
  • Be an internal owner and advocate of the Lottie story and tone of voice, helping other departments to create marketing materials

This role is perfect for you if you

  • Have 5+ years in a comms function including managing multiple channels such as PR, content, social.
  • Have experience in at least one of hardware/subscriptions/children's industry
  • Have launched B2C products before and bring knowledge of the pre/post-launch communications objectives, ideally in multiple markets
  • Are a fluent German and English speaker
  • Are equally adept at strategic brand thinking as you are at sharpening the perfect tweet
  • Have solid analytical skills to measure the impact of your work, including a solid understanding of SEO
  • Have excellent written communication skills for both customer messaging and internal comms
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, including ability to work independently and as part of a senior, multi-functional team

This position is open for candidates wanting to work onsite or in remote (located in time zones +/- 2 hours from Berlin) and enjoy flexible working hours with openness to travel to our office a few times a year.
